This first topic, which deals with electronic culture in China, develops a direct link with the Festival’s audiovisual programme. For this panel, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Michael Vonplon, originally from Zurich, who manages Miro-China, a company known for supporting promising projects which bring together Swiss and Chinese artists from the music and contemporary art scenes. He will appear alongside Beijing musician Dead J, one of the key ambassadors for the Chinese electronic scene and winner of a Chinese Music Media Award, who will share his experiences from the worlds of music and cinema and discuss the pivotal issues in play regarding his own country and the West. The third seat will be occupied by Choi Sai Ho; this major visual artist from Hong Kong studied Fine Arts in Creative Media and has won numerous awards. He will afford us a glimpse of that famous peninsula.
